FALL Class Descriptions


The kettlebell is a cast steel weight, resembling a cannonball with a handle, used to perform ballistic (explosive) exercises that combine cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training. They help to build balance, power, muscle and much more! In our 45 minute class, you’ll be guided the entire way by an elite instructor. You’ll begin with a 10 minute warm up, then perform a variety of exercises, with and without a kettlebell. During your workout, you’ll be working your whole body; doing swinging movements, traditional pressing, squat exercises, pull ups, chin ups, integrating some slam balls, and so much more! You’ll finish each session with a cool down, or stretching component. Come on out and give it a try! We promise you’ll leave sweaty and out of breath, each and every time!

In this 45 minute class, we'll put more emphasis into the strength component, less on the metabolic conditioning component. Double bells may be on the menu, or movements such as the barbell deadlift. You'll be sure to walk out in a sweaty mess each and every time. Our goal is that we want you to get stronger!

A 45 minute class that may incorporate TRX, kettlebells, rowers, balls and rings, and a focus on body weight movements. This is a challenging class that will leave you feeling sweaty and strong. Using your own body weight with a variety of props means that each class will be a full body workout. Not for the faint heart.

Spinning is done on an indoor stationary bike. It’s a cardiovascular, butt-kicking workout that will take you on a stationary but sweaty ride of your life. In our 45 minute class, a qualified instructor will guide you through an intense and fun workout. This craze involves hopping on your bike, and peddling as hard as you can while adding subtracting resistance. The intensity will vary throughout the class thanks to different body positions; standing vs. sitting, pedal speed and resistance. You’ll be sure to get an amazing workout! 


Just like your traditional spin class, but incorporating some weights to increase the intensity! You will be spending some time on and off the spin bikes. You can expect something similar to three 12min. spin sets followed by 3 weight rounds in a 1 hour class. But if you prefer to spin through instead of adding weights, you are welcome to do so! Low impact drum inspired cardio workout that incorporates drumming, yoga, pilates and ROCKING! Join us Monday nights at 7:15pm


High intensity interval training has become a popular way to burn more fat, improve resistance and build strength. This training method has been very effective for many people. During this 45 minute class, a qualified instructor will guide you through a quick warm up, and then some short but intense circuits working every muscle group. You’ll perform a variety of movements that include running, skipping, squatting, jumping, pushing and pulling. You’ll be using your body weight and also incorporating some weights and resistance. Come out and sweat with us!


This class is a low impact, full body workout that incorporates the flexibility of yoga with the strength and conditioning of pilates. We use dynamic, cardio yoga-flows and bodyweight resistance strength training, then crank up the speed, to build muscle, burn calories, and seriously tone your entire body.  Perfect for all ages and fitness levels. 


Yoga has many branches of study and practice. Our yoga classes offer the practice of the physical postures designed to provide physical strength, stamina and increase flexibility while readying the body to relax and release the stresses of everyday living.


A gentle, slow paced flow that connects the breath with pose followed by a deeply relaxing practice of supported poses. All levels welcome!


This fusion class draws influence from Vinyasa Flow and Power Yoga styles and adds in a little HIIT yoga for a boost to help you improve strength, flexibility and endurance while leaving you relaxed and energized afterwards.


This 1 hour 15 minute class is based on the principles of Hatha Yoga and is designed for all levels; including beginners, older adults or people with physical limitations. Props and pose modifications can be used to assist into postures and ease of movements if needed.


Based on the principles of Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga, this 1 hour class is designed for all levels. A swift pace will be set to increase energy and heat within the body to jump start he metabolism. 


Pilates is a low impact workout that is ideal for every level of fitness. It consists of six principles; concentration, control, centering, precision, flowing movements and breathing. When practiced properly, pilates will help you develop strength, create long lean muscles, and therefore great posture. Once the fundamentals are learnt, you will begin to connect to your centre, which is made up of the deep abdominal muscles as well as the muscles throughout the back. By using this connection, you then create a very rhythmic and tranquil practice that not only works your body, but also your brain. A qualified instructor will guide you through a proper workout, ensuring that your form is correct for each movement. After a 1 hour pilates class, you will leave feeling peaceful and connected to your mind, body and soul. Nancy truly believes that Pilates is a beautiful way to enhance the way you feel about life. Kangoo Jumps is the worldwide leading brand for safe mobile rebound exercise. Kangoo Jumps rebound boots are perfect for cross-training activities and provide many additional health and fitness benefits. They are designed for all ages and fitness levels and are very easy to use. The success of Kangoo classes is due to the high release of endorphins. Attendees get “addicted” to bouncing and often purchase their own KJ rebound boots after only a few classes. This 1 hour class introduces Kangoo Jumps to new class members, as well as a refresh for anyone with dusty KJ rebound boots. New class attendees will learn about Kangoo Jump boots and proper techniques to wearing and using them. Participants will learn all the basic moves, directions of travel, and the traditional cues used in all the Kangoo programs. The program welcomes new class members to participate in a Kangoo Dance routine and experience the structure of a Kangoo Power class. 


This is a 45 minute mini boot camp style class using Kangoo boots. No experience is needed for this one either! Each class is designed to strengthen core muscles and burn fat using weights, body weight and the weight of the 5lb boots. A class wouldn’t be complete without a fun cardio component involving jumping jacks, jogging and more!


The community has asked for a class specific to the needs of seniors and we have delivered!  This class will be low impact, incorporating light weights and easy to use equipment. Our goals are to help you increase mobility, muscular strength and endurance. Regular exercise will help you improve mobility, coordination and balance. All of which need to be maintained as we age! 


This version of active aging will follow a traditional yoga class structure, with a focus on breathing and gentle movements. Yoga poses will be assisted with props, similar to chair yoga. Part of the class will include light weights.
